Golf Seminar Offered for JC Enthusiasts

Alpharetta resident and PGA Master Golf Professional, Bill Barkey, will be giving a dynamic golf seminar on "The Ultimate Golf Swing"

The seminar is open to Johns Creek, North Fulton and Forsyth area residents and will be held Thursday, Sept. 25 and Monday, Sept. 29 at the Doubletree Hotel/Roswell. The cost is $10.

Several 90-minute seminars will be held throughout the day at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Barkley is a PGA Master Golf Professional, which is the highest education level attained by PGA members. Barkley's background in golf spans nearly 50 years, beginning with a four-year golf scholarship at the University of Florida. He has owned a private country club and golf schools, served as a head golf professional, and has taught thousands of golfers by way of clinics and private instruction. Barkley recently moved back to Alpharetta with his family after being away for 20 years.

A percentage of the proceeds of these golf seminars will be donated to the local chapter of the National MS Society in honor of Barkley's son, Frank Barkley, an avid golfer, and Barkley's 20-year-old granddaughter, Suzie Barkley, who are both battling MS.
