The North Fulton Chamber of Commerce is excited about its creation of a new business accelerator program which will assist area businesses.
The first business stage for most companies is the development of an idea or concept into a product or service that can be commercialized.
The second stage is turning that product or service into a marketable entity.
The chamber’s new Stage2 Business Accelerator program takes new companies through this second stage, providing growing organizations with the resources they need to succeed in business.
Companies that are accepted into the accelerator program will contract with the Stage2 Business Accelerator to complete an individually defined "36-Month Business Roadmap to Success" program, including physical space and office communications.
A third element is imperative to the success of young companies – the development of an active Advisory Board. The chamber will partner with leading executive organizations in the state to develop an Advisory Board that will provide member companies with constructive and practical consultative support to grow their young businesses.
Stage2 will also offer growth opportunities for the community. The chamber is seeking young, high-growth-potential companies that are capable of creating strong jobs within the community, primarily in Financial Services, Health Sciences, BioPharma, Information Security, and others.
By integrating stronger businesses into North Fulton's infrastructure, these member businesses will provide jobs while increasing contributions to the local economy, enhancing the local "Live, Work, Play" environment.
Companies successfully completing the Stage2 program will move through the third, fourth and fifth stages of business growth, which are marketing and sales, infrastructure, and scale and growth. The businesses will profit from a sustainable business model.
Business applicants must meet membership criteria as detailed in the membership packet located at www.stage2ba.com.
Thirty-minute business application presentations will be scheduled for Wed., Nov. 28 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Georgia State University-Alpharetta Campus, located at 3705 Brookside Parkway, Alpharetta. To schedule an appointment, contact Alan Urech at aurech@stage2ba.com or 678-520-9989.
If you have a product or idea that’s ready to go to the next stage, contact the Stage2 Business Accelerator for a free consultation at www.stage2ba.com/main7.htm.
