Debut Season Continues for Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra

The newly-formed Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra continues its debut season Sat., Feb. 9 at 8 p.m.. at Northview High School, 10625 Parsons Road, Johns Creek, with a concert entitled “Welcome to the Symphony!”

The all classical repertoire includes Mozart’s Overture to the Marriage of Figaro, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1 in C Major, the Fingal’s Cave Overture by Mendelssohn and Bizet’s energetic Symphony in C Major.

The JCSO musicians are among the most highly qualified in the metropolitan Atlanta area. More than half have master’s degrees in their instrument and the entire orchestra membership averages 14 years professional symphonic performing experience.

This event is the third of four events scheduled for the debut season of the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra. The first two events were highly successful and the full orchestra is poised for another outstanding concert.

The fully-professional, Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra is led by veteran music director and conductor J. Wayne Baughman.
