Parks and Recreation Committee Appointed

On Feb, 11, The Johns Creek City Council named seven residents to serve on the city’s Recreation and Parks Advisory Committee.
The committee is charged with researching issues facing City parks, including recreation programs; and for advising the
City, Mayor and Council on appropriate actions and events, as well as opportunities for citizen participation.

The appointees are: Wayne Henderson, Alan Hill, James “Jim” Jones, Teresa Johnston, Tony Green, Larry Buckles and Peter Hall.

Kirk Franz, Recreation and Parks Manager, anticipates that the Committee will have it’s first meeting in the month of
