Anything Goes
Northview High School will be producing their annual spring musical with the choral department. This years presentation of "Anything Goes" features famous Cole Porter songs like “It's Delovely,” “Let's Misbehave,” and the title song. There's no telling what can happen when brassy singer Reno Sweeney (junior Christina Pasqualone) climbs aboard the SS American. Can Billy Crocker (senior Chip Davis ) hide from his boss Elisha Whitney (junior Andrew Martin) long enough to win Hope Harcourt (senior Kristen Pike) away from fiancé Sir Evelyn Oakleigh (sophomore Alex Canty) ? With a host of memorable characters including Moonface Martin (junior Jeffrey Moro) , Erma (sophomore Jenny Tortoriello) , and a host of dancing angels, sailors, and more, along with showstopping tap numbers and comic hijinks, this musical comedy on the high seas will leave you singing and cheering!
Production dates are March 13-15 at 7:30 p.m. and March 16 at 2:00 p.m.

Inherit the Wind
The Lion Heart Theatre in Norcross will be presenting "Inherit the Wind," a dramatization of the famed 1925 trial in Dayton, Tenn. The production will be held Feb. 29 through March 16 on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30p.m. and Sundays a 2p.m. Tickets are $15 and $12 for seniors. Chef's Book Signing
Culinary samples and recipes will be available while Atlanta's premiere chefs sign copies of "Atlanta Cooks at Home" The even also features the Junior League of Gwinnett and North Fulton Counties. The event will take place at Twigs and Lace on 64 North Main Street in Alpharetta on March 1 from noon to 3 p.m.

Bank of North Georgia Celebrates the Arts
Bank of North Georgia Celebrates the Arts with nature themed artwork by acclaimed wildlife artists Michael Collins, Larry K. Martin, and Jim Partee. Exhibit on view at Bank of North Georgia located at the intersection of Alpharetta Highway and Holcomb Bridge Road. A portion of all art sales will benefit Chattahoochee Nature Center. The event will be held March 1 - 31.

Class of 2012
Centennial High School is welcoming the class of 2012 with an informational meeting for parents and incoming freshmen. The program will be held Wednesday March 12 from 7p.m. to 9p.m. in the CHS Cafeteria. Principal Dr. John Bartley will be discussing the registration process. Parents from both private and public schools are welcome to attend.

Orchestra
The Johns Creek Orchestra will be presenting their Season Finale: Light Classics and Pops, Works by Delius, Dvořák, J. Strauss, Henry Mancini, John Williams and others. The concert will be held April 12 at 8p.m. at the Northview High School Theater. Tickets are $25.00.

Night Writer
The Night Writers welcome local author and Chattahoochee High School teacher Michael Buchanan. He will speak on editing and critiquing writing with a lecture and hands-on experience on Feb.28 from 6:30p.m. to 8p.m. Buchannan is the author of the popular novel "Micah's Child."
Other Night Writer Programs are scheduled for Thursdays, March 27 and April 24, 6:30p.m. to 8 p.m.

Connie Lynn Reilly: Portrait Light The Ocee Arts Center will be presenting Connie Reilly, internationally renown portrait artist with over 36 years of experience. Reilly's upcoming show 'Portrait Light.' will be on display at the center through March 21. The Ocee Arts Center is located at 6290 Abbotts Bridge Road, Building 700.

Marathon Walk and Run
Join thousands of fellow athletes on March 2 at 7 a.m. for the Second Annual Alpharetta Marathon and Half Marathon. Awards for top marathon finishers in each age group allow for a great chance at winning a portion of the $4,000 in prizes at this Boston Marathon-qualifying race.
Athletes will run either a full (26.2 mile) or half marathon (13.1 mile) course through beautiful North Fulton County. Runners will be treated to water stations every 1.5 miles along the course, with bands and cheer groups adding to the festivities.
