The Northview Theatre Company will perform the Tony Award-winning musical, Anything Goes. This show, co-directed by drama director B. Paul McClain and choral director Barbara Moras, is an amusing story wrapped around one of Cole Porter’s magical scores. It features famous songs like “It's Delovely,” “Let's Misbehave,” “I Get a Kick Out of You” as well as the title song.

Anything Goes is a farce set below the decks on the S. S. American bound for London from New York. Billy Crocker, a love-sick Wall Street broker, stows away on the ship in hope of winning the heart of his beloved Hope Harcourt. Hope is on her way to England to be married to Sir Evelyn Oakleigh, a stuffy, hapless British nobleman. Reno Sweeney, an evangelist turned bar hostess, resolves to help Billy win over Hope. Crocker has boarded without a ticket, so is forced to adopt a number of disguises. Also on board is Moonface Martin, “Public Enemy 13” whose ambition is to rise to the top of the list. The comic high jinks of Billy, Reno, Moonface, and the show-stopping tap numbers are sure to intrigue every audience. This musical comedy on the high seas will leave you singing and cheering!

The cast features junior Christina Pasqualone as brassy singer Reno Sweeney, senior Chip Davis as Billy Crocker, junior Andrew Martin as Elisha Whitney, senior Kristen Pike as Hope Harcourt, sophomore Alex Canty as Sir Evelyn Oakleigh, junior Jeffrey Moro as Moonface Martin, sophomore Jenny Tortoriello as Erma, and a host of dancing angels and sailors.
