Rep. Tom Price
Rep. Tom Price (R- District 6) is looking to encourage Georgia businesses and families with his outlook for 2008. On Monday Price addressed the Council for Quality Growth.
The Council for Quality Growth is a not-for-profit trade association that works with policy makers and the development community to promote responsible growth in the metro Atlanta region and the state.
“It was an immense pleasure to address the Council for Quality Growth today,” said Rep Price. “These are the men and women who are working to preserve the strong economy, balanced growth, and welcoming communities which Atlanta has come to represent."
“There is genuine concern about the condition of our economy, but people are also anxious about how the federal government will respond. The decisions made in Washington right now will have a real impact on the stability of development of the Atlanta area and our broader economy. People understand that more government over-reaching is not the answer. Positive solutions to any economic woes must promote flexibility, entrepreneurship, and respect the resilience and innovation of the American people.”
