Rep. Tom Price (GA-06-R) has been awarded the “The Spirit of Enterprise” Award from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The award was given for Price’s support of pro-business issues during the first session of the 110th Congress.

“It is an honor to accept this recognition from such a respected organization,” said Price. “At this time of economic uncertainty, we must focus on policies which will strengthen our economy and create good American jobs. I remain committed to unleashing the power of our economy by reducing the taxation, regulation, and litigation that burdens American enterprise. I am continually grateful for the hard work of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to promote this important cause.”

U.S. Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Tom Donohue released the following statement congratulating Rep. Price on this recognition:

“Representative Price has proven to be an effective ally to the business community, supporting legislation that helps grow the economy and creates new jobs for hardworking Americans,” said Donohue. “The Chamber is grateful for Tom’s commitment to these important issues and is proud to present him with this award.”
