School Budget Hearings Set

The Fulton County Board of Education will hear from interested citizens during two public hearings – April 29 and April 30 – on the Fiscal Year 2009 budget.
Both hearings begin at 6:30 p.m. and will allow participants to publicly address the board or use comment cards provided at the meeting. A budget work session precedes the April 29 public hearing at 5 p.m.

If needed, a budget work session will be held May 6 at Dunwoody Springs. The school board is scheduled to adopt the FY09 tentative budget on May 15, with final approval slated for June 12.
