JCPD Off to Solid Start

In the two weeks that the Johns Creek Police Department has been open for business, officers have been hard at work creating a presence, patrolling the streets and keeping citizens safe.
The JCPD issued its first “official” Crime Distribution List on May 13, and according to that list 63 police reports have been filed since the department came on-line last month.
The arrests include: three assault or battery charges; 10 thefts; three identity thefts; three arrests for Driving Under the Influence; four burglaries; three arrests for forgery or fraud; one drug related arrest and one aggregated stalking. There have also been various reports filed for misplaced items, traffic violations, trespassing and disorderly conduct.
